For years, Aaron has carried his camera through wild places, from the granite heights of mountains to the quiet stillness of distant deserts, chasing more than just a photograph. Every moment in nature carries its own pulse: the chill of morning air, the resin of sun-warmed pines, the weight of silence after the wind. These impressions stay with him as strongly as the images themselves.
Leigh has long nurtured a love for stories and scent, discovering that a single fragrance can unlock a memory, transporting you back to a place or an emotion. She has collaborated with authors to craft custom scents for their novels, so readers could be fully immersed in the worlds they created. When she set out to create a special candle for Aaron, she asked him about his favorite scent. Without hesitation, he blurted: Yosemite. But how to describe it? It just was. Leigh went to work researching and crafting, and when they lit the candle beneath one of Aaron’s favorite Yosemite images, something close to magic happened. The memory of that place flooded back - full, vivid, and unforgettable.
Together, Aaron and Leigh embarked on Scenes and Scents: a collection that brings landscapes to life through both sight and scent.
